US Military's New, More Aggressive Neocon Stance

"In the coming weeks, the USS Kitty Hawk and six other Navy aircraft carriers will be deployed around the globe to demonstrate America's ability to deal with a decidedly post-September 11 scenario: the outbreak of violence just about everywhere at once. "

The Reverend Moon's totally unreliable Washington Times has an over-excited report on the neo-con's successful efforts to make the US military more aggressive and less defensive. It quotes Rear Adm. James Kelly:

"We need to deploy, we need to live overseas, we need to be engaged. We can't just stay at home and tuck our tails in and hide."

Lt. Gen. Thomas Waskow, commander of U.S. forces in Japan, says the USA needs "a leaner, more agile force capable of anticipating and responding to rogue threats."

Can you imagine if China or Russia took the same attitude? The way the USA is going, they are going to find a lot more people ready to fight against them.
