The robber who was identified by the leech - Peter Cannon - will be sentenced in the Launceston Supreme Court on Friday.

ReplyDeleteAre there THAT many leeches in Tassie? (Insert joke about Gunn's here_______.) If I had known when we went down there, I would have been more creeped out.
And I sense a new burglary protection device -- the leech alarm! I'm seeing globes of water, with leeches in them. Someone breaks in, they don't know where the leechglobes are, they break one and the leech gets on them... By the time the burglar starts screaming "Aaah -- get it off! Get it off!" and throws it to the floor, there's your DNA sample.
As for Cheney's DNA, I volunteer to stick a leech on his eyeball...
