Winning the (ahem!) "War on Terror"... For The House of Saud
As a US court reveals details of a Libya 'terror plot', US Attorney General John Ashcroft said the case "has provided 'critical intelligence' in the war on terror."
Yeah, well. It uncovered a Libyan plot to assasinate one of Bush's mates in the repressive Saudi regime. Does that makes the USA and the world a safer place? You be the judge.
And, um... wasn't Libya supposed to be a texbook case of how Bush & Co are "winning the war on terror"?
