Michael Moore says he is trying to get Fahrenheit 911 shown on US public television before the November 2nd election. As a result, the movie will not be eligible for this years Best Documentary Academy Award (it was considered a shoe-in).
Moore still encourages people to see the movie or buy the DVD, with this teaser:
"I have included 100 minutes of extras on the DVD -- powerful footage obtained after we made the movie, and some things that are going to drive Karl Rove into a permanent tailspin -- more on this later!"
