So Much For "Opposition"

An inquiry into whether Australia played any role in the alleged torture of former terror detainee Mamdouh Habib was defeated 43-8, with Labor siding with the government.

Like the US Democrats, the Australian Labour Party just dont want to know. Presumably they have too many skeletons in their own closets... Where does that leave "we, the people"?
