Dr Colm O'Mahony, a sexual health expert from the Countess of Chester Foundation Trust Hospital in Chester, said the US had an "obsession" with circumcision being the answer to controlling sexually transmitted infections.

I WILL say this in defence of circumcision -- I've worked with old male patients who haven't been snipped. Shall we say that personal hygeine tends to decline along with mental function. Some nassssssty things happen to the equipment when there's that extra flap covering up the wet end...
Those Semites knew what they were on about with the male circumcision. Not so with the female kind, though.
