BBC Drops a Hot Potato?

This is odd. The BBC's main story a few hours ago was the visit to Najaf by an Iraqi "peace mission" (who Al-Sadr has since refused to see). The BBC invited readers to post their opinions on the Najaf standoff:

"Would the situation in Iraq change if Moqtada Sadr joins the political process? Should the UN special envoy to Iraq help end the crisis in Najaf? Can the situation in Najaf get out of control? Send us your views..."

But the reader feedback section now seems to have been dropped (the link is gone from the main page and no posts have been pubished).

Is the issue too hot to handle? Or is the whole idea of debating lies built on lies just getting too surreal for any self-respecting journalist?
