It is my opinion that statements that Bush is worse than Saddam play into the intellectually dishonest right-wing game that comparisons between Bush and Saddam are relevant. This is a logical fallacy that has been used to, amongst other things, excuse torture (e.g. 'Saddam was worse') and cow moderates into supporting the invasion (e.g. 'being against the war is equivalent to being for Saddam').
