Arianna predicts that the Judith Miller fiasco could end with the resignation of NYT's hands-on publisher, Arthur Sulzberger (despite the fact that nine of the Times board's fourteen directors were chosen by the Sulzberger family). The alternative could be mass resignations by journalists and the total collapse of the paper's (remaining) credibility.

It's a pity that the NYT and WaPo, of all US papers, should be coming under so much pressure, but I guess that's a sign that "we, the people" are screaming out for some honest reporting.
