Moon Over Washington:

On March 23, 2004, a bipartisan group of US Congressmen attended the coronation - in a Senate office building- of a billionaire, pro-theocracy newspaper owner and declared him to be the Messiah. The event was only covered in the billionaire's own newspaper, The Washington Times (not to be confused with the wonderful Washington Post). The new (ahem!) Messiah's name is Sun Myung Moon, now 84.
