News From Iraq: On A Bloody Slow Drip-feed

Hey! Did you know there was a massive assault on the Abu Ghraib prison this week? If not, you are not alone. Because the utter disregard the US media have shown this story is astonishing. This was the single largest and most sophisticated insurgent attack in Iraq to date, yet it was buried in the back pages of Western newspapers. And because no video footage was released, the TV stations pretty much ignored it.

Meanwhile, more than two years after the invasion, more than half the people in the USA have finally realized that the Bush administration deliberately misled them about alleged weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. But what about the rest???

I think it's time for the USA to re-evaluate itself as a nation!
