Ten Questions For Those Who Voted For Bush

From a letter to the editor of the Philly Enquirer:
FOR THOSE citizens who voted for George W. Bush, I have some questions that are still perplexing me:

1. Why are gas prices so outrageously high? And why are oil company profits (enjoyed by both our president and vice president) also so high? I don't recall paying this much for gas during the Clinton administration!

2. Where is Osama? And those infamous WMDs?

3. Why aren't we as a nation any safer than we were prior to 9/11?

4. Why is Social Security under attack? In fact, why is the entire middle-class economic structure under attack by this administration?

5. Why can't we adequately equip our valiant military personnel with up-to-date weaponry and vehicles? Why are Bush cronies making billions from inflated military contracts?

6. Why do we no longer care about our environment, about drilling for oil in Alaska or off the coast in New Jersey?

7. Did we really "liberate" Iraq to install an Islamic republic?

8. Why isn't Karl Rove being disciplined for leaking the name of a CIA operative?

9. Why did President Bush have time to bike with Lance Armstrong but couldn't see the mother of a slain soldier?

So many questions keep bothering me. Perhaps the answers will appear before the 2006 election.
