In an exclusive interview with Fortune, the 49-year-old Karzai said, "I don't think it is good to be running all the time. Let other people get a chance to run."
Or, in other words:
I have become such a US stooge that even another multi-million dollar PR blitz of poor, uneducated Afghans will not be enough to get me re-elected. Besides, I have enough money to retire in comfort on the Cote D'Azur now.
