Bush: "What didn't go right?"

This quote from House Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi is worth recording:
Pelosi, speaking at a news conference, said Brown had ''absolutely no credentials'' when Bush picked him to run FEMA.

She related that she urged Bush at the White House on Tuesday to fire Brown.

''He said, 'Why would I do that?''' Pelosi said.

''I said because of all that went wrong, of all that didn't go right last week.' And he said 'What didn't go right?'''

''Oblivious, in denial, dangerous,'' she added.
UPDATE: Scott McClellan yesterday tried to excuse Bush's ignorance (again):
"I think the President was just wanting to know what she -- what she was most concerned about."
Right... Or maybe Bush still thinks only one person died? Today's Bushism:
"So please give cash money to organizations that are directly involved in helping save lives—save the life who had been affected by Hurricane Katrina."
