Bad News...

A Newsweek reporter on a US propaganda junket explodes the much-repeated right-wing lie that "good news from Iraq" is never reported:

Around the same time I chatted with the teacher, 100 miles to the south in Baghdad, about a dozen bombs went off throughout the city, killing more than 150 and injuring hundreds more. Six American convoys were also hit, wounding 10 U.S. soldiers... It was Baghdad’s deadliest day since the fall of Saddam.

Long-time "good news" propagandists like Chrenkoff have dropped out and even my old friends at Iraq The Model are runing out of shit to say. Meanwhile, TIME Magazine rips the whole WMD/Terrorism/Democracy/Whatever rationale for the Iraq War to shreds.
