Haditha: Media's Role

Greg Mitchell looks at the media's failure to follow up on the Haditha story and other US atrocitiies in Iraq. He cloases with this quote from John Sifton of Human Rights Watch:
"And surprisingly, U.S. troops are very engaged to talk about what they've seen in Iraq. A lot of people don't commit abuses. They witness abuses, though, and they want to talk about them. And we've been using that testimony to piece together facts about what’s going on.

"I mean, don't get the wrong idea. There are people out there who see these things and are horrified and report them up the chain of command. And then nothing happens."
Mitchell promises a Part 2 on this...
