Small Business GOP Frauds and War Profiteers

It seems that lots of good old folks are jumping on the Bush Fascist Terror Bandwagon and even making a living out of it while pretending to be "Volunteers".

Visiting my good friends at the Bush-apologist blog, Iraq The Model, I saw an interesting post in the Comments section:

"I found this very interesting take on whether this war is just an extension of WWII's war against fascism. Scroll down to June 7 2004- D-Day: Mission Accomplished? The picture is of Arafat's cousin who led a Nazi backed coup in IRAQ by Saddam Hussein's uncle.

Christina, Montana, USA"

I find it very, very strange that the Bush-backers keep trying to paint everyone who disagrees with El Busho Loco as "Nazis" and "Fascists", including the ridiculous term "Islamofascist". It seems a total over-reaction to the fact that Bush clearly has very embarrassing family ties to Hitler's regime and is behaving in a totally Fascist way, (including the obligatory appeal to patriotic nationalism).

Intrigued by the alleged link between Arafat and Nazism, I followed the link that "Christina" supplied. It leads to a fake Dept Homeland Security website, run by some Bush-Nazi apologists. Ironically, the website is called "NEIN" (which means "no" in German) and also calls itself "the missing link" :D

The folks at NEIN purport to be a news resource, if not an actual branch of the Homeland Security Department, if not perhaps the official department website: the URL is www.homelandsecurityus.com. But they sell "Corporate Products", have an "online store", and even solicit donations. Well, given that level of entrepreneurship, at least we know they're not Communists!

Indeed, they offer "specialists" that can "help you protect your executives and your staff members":

"The Northeast Intelligence Network has a variety of packages available to meet corporate security needs. Please email us at blah blah and we will be happy to assist in customizing a package to meet your needs."

In other words, they are frauds who are profiteering from fear.

Perhaps they should include a Legal Disclaimer:

This "War On Terror" / "Religious Crusade / Corporate Opportunity" is being brought to you by the Bush Nazi Fascist White House and affiliated $$$ businesses.

By the way, the website does indeed show a photo of an Arab - perhaps Arafat's cousin, let's give them the benefit of the doubt - shaking hands with a man dressed as a Nazi. But does that make Arafat a Nazi? I suggested that Christina should explain how big business has taken control of Arafat's agenda, as it has Bush's. Arafat is an ex-terrorist and a very self-interested politician, but whatever else he may be, Arafat is not a Fascist!

Please let the folks at NEIN and Iraq The Model know what you think about this kind of fraudulent misrepresentation. Good-hearted, well-meaning people are being misled by it every day, and there's a damn good chance they will end up voting for Bush as a result.

Personally, I'll be reporting it to the real Dept Homeland Security and other US agencies, to see if they take such fraud seriously.
