Either the Bush Kids Put Their Lives on the Line for George's "Noble War" or the Troops Come Home.
"I demand that George W. Bush's daughters, and his eligible nieces and nephews, serve in Iraq to prove their support of Bush's 'noble war for a noble cause.' If the Bush family does not believe in 'sacrificing' for the war and is not willing to put their lives on the line, then Bush must bring the troops of middle class and poor Americans home now."

The decision to serve is made by the serviceman who volunteers, not by their family. It is soley the choice of the individual, sort of like - abortion. Just as no thinking person would advocate forced abortions, nobody should be forcing anybody to join an all-volunteer force. I joined the military over the objections of my parents, and Casey Sheehan joined over the objection of his parents.

Futhermore, I find it alarming that any group of people living outside of a medieval theocracy would be advocating a doctrine that says, "the sins of the father shall be visited upon the children." What's next? Do we force the children of murderers to pay restitution? Sacrifice children of meteorologists to appease the weather gods?

Finally, think about the military - it's hard enough being in the military, and dealing with the people who are already there and don't want to be there. On top of this, you want to add two media celebrities that don't want to be there either? Hey, thanks...

However, you do agree that the father is a sinner and, as a result, is unfit to hold the office of President?

I've never heard that a state of grace should be a prerequisite for that particular office.
