Bush laughs over elusive WMDs:

"United States President George W Bush made a joke about weapons of mass destruction not being found in Iraq at a late-night dinner for US television journalists.

The president remarked about a picture showing him down on all fours in his office saying 'Those weapons of mass destruction have got to be somewhere!'

Asked at a news conference if the issue was an appropriate matter for jokes, Defence Secretary Donald Rumsfeld contained himself, declining to comment and adding that he had not been at the dinner."
