Jim Hake's Big Adventures: Only In BushWorld

Isn't this kinda wierd:
Jim was a founding partner and president of Access Media Inc. - an information and media company serving the information technology industry. At Access Media, Jim started the company's GII (Global Information Infrastructure) business unit. GII created some of the industry's first Internet-focused media programs. Jim sold Access Media's GII unit to SOFTBANK, the world's biggest investor in the Internet at the time. GII became a business unit of Ziff Davis - another SOFTBANK company - and Jim served at Ziff Davis as GII's chairman.
So Jimmy Jimmy Jim Jamms sold his company to a company which was swallowed up by a company which appointed him to act as chairman of his original company? Only in BushWorld...

But now let's look at if from the other side. Instead of selling GII to SOFTBANK, Hake is now "acquiring" it for Ziff Davis:
Prior to Ziff-Davis, Jim was a founding partner and president of Access Media Inc. - an information and media company -- where he engineered the acquisition of GII by SOFTBANK, one of the world's most prominent Internet investors. GII later became a business unit of Ziff Davis.
What a surprise. GII is now distributing global political news!

By the way, Dr. Charles Stryker served as President of IQ2.net and Zona, both subsidiaries of IntelliQuest Information Group Inc. from October 1997 to November 1999. Which has nothing to do with anything. Even if Jim Hake is also Founder, CEO & Chairman of a company called PersistX, Inc. And even if http://www.persistx.com cannot be found any more....

It's all very mysterious, isn't it? I wonder how long it will be before they come and pick me up?
