Holding Bush Accountable: The Levee Breaks?

Please, please, please let THIS be IT.
The tape contradicts the president's statement four days after the hurricane struck: "I don't think anyone anticipated the breach of the levees."

... The tape shows Bush and Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff being told on August 28 that the hurricane could trigger breaches of levees that protect the city as well as threaten the Superdome, which became a last-ditch shelter for storm victims...

"I want to assure the folks at the state level that we are fully prepared to not only help you during the storm, but we will move in whatever resources and assets we have at our disposal after the storm to help you deal with the loss of property," Bush says in one part of the video.

"We pray there's no loss of life, of course."

BBC version includes:
Speaking by video link from a room in his Texan holiday ranch on 28 August last year, Mr Bush is shown telling officials: "We are fully prepared".

He does not ask any questions as the situation is outlined to him.
Crooks and Liars has the video here.
"I don't think any model can tell you with any confidence right now whether the levees will be topped or not but that is obviously a very, very grave concern," Mayfield told the briefing."
Firedoglake reveals that the Bush White House is trying to counter the damage by leaking FEMA transcipts that they initially refused to provide to congressional investigators. Firedoglake also reminds us that Bush decided to stay on vacation, regardless of what he was being told.
I don't know what deity might be brewing up this perfect storm of payback for Dubya but he does not seem to be interested in having a friendly conversation with the Boy King at the moment.
Dear God, please let this be the final straw that breaks the Bush Co. camel's back.

Otherwise, we are all going to need...

Magic Bunny!!!
