The Progressive Daily Beacon says Abizaid should be relieved of his commission for misleading the US Senate:
Abizaid was asked about his August assessment - at that time he claimed Iraq was sliding into civil war - and he responded, "It's certainly not as bad as the situation appeared back in August."
... If the General wishes to carry water for the administration, he should resign his commission and become a FOX News contributor.
