Can you believe this? 51% of USA'ers support Bush's wire-taps even if they are illegal!
Mind you, with a huge portion of the USA functionally illiterate, including college graduates, what can you expect? Here's Sheila Samples:
Researchers estimate as many as 30 million Americans -- many of them college graduates -- cannot read. They're unable to comprehend news stories or even instructions. [The researchers] said they were "stunned," but could offer no explanation for the steep drop in literacy. I don't know what's more depressing -- that Americans can't read or, after studying the phenomenon, researchers lack the critical skills to discern why.For those who can read with the assistance of cartoon panels, Tom Tomorrow does the analysis on the wire-tapping problem - so you don't have to.
Fortunately, there are still 58% of USA'ers who are not happy with the current level of public education. Just don't expect Bush to do anyting about it, when widespread stupidity is working so well for him.
